The Dream Catcher
Little Dream flew through the night
smiling, happy all night long
But Bigger Dream not far behind
was angry, venemous and very strong
Little Dream knew nothing yet
just searching for a family
Where children would have gone to bed
to share with them, his dream to see
Bigger Dream had other plans
ruining the night for everyone
This moment was his chance
no more sweet dreams when he was done
Now Little Dream was noticing
and look behind he quickly dared
Bigger Dream was closing in
that moment Little Dream was scared
Searching for a house to hide
for safety, sanctuary, shelter soon
He found a window opened wide
and fled into the house's room
Bigger Dream now saw his chance
creeping, crawling to the trap
Readying his vicious plans
Little Dream caught in his web
But Little Dream was free instead
and flew towards the child asleep
With Bigger Dream caught in the threads
Of the Dream Catcher, forever entangled deep
